Our team’s experience with CARB’s Tier 1 DSM model can help guide engineers design a facility with the best possible CI score. We also have developed a suite of in-house computer models to analyze biogas production and energy consumption. This data gives a full picture of the plant’s operation and helps the facility designer choose equipment configurations that result in the best possible CI score (and maximum revenue.)

Co - Feedstock Analysis
Quantalux can support plant operators at anaerobic digester facilities to assess the impact of adding co-feedstocks like food waste to sludge or manure. Operators can determine optimal feed rates by evaluating various biochemical parameters in the digester after adding food waste, brewery wastewater, FOG, beverage waste or dairy waste. Our team can also help operators choose the best feedstocks to accept based on energy and tipping fees, as well as the optimum use of the bioenergy produced (based on competitive alternatives.) We can also determine the cost-benefit of accepting a given feedstock by balancing the increased revenue with disposal costs.

Prototyping & Testing
Quantalux is experienced with designing and testing innovative technology for anaerobic digester systems. Our team starts with an initial design concept, builds a prototype and conucts pilot-scale testing to assess performance. After the prototype has been validated using lab- and field-based testing, Quantalux works with its partners to market the technology.
